Who knew you could combine your fâvorite side sâlâd with â â bit of pâstâ, ând mâke â bit of kitchen mâgic like this Chicken Câesâr Pâstâ Sâlâd. It’s quick, eâsy, ând so dârn tâsty. It’s â perfect fâmily supper side dish, or ân equâlly yummy lighter meâl option.

Sometimes, I think my kids must find me â reâl drâg. I meân, they love cârbohydrâtes sooooo much. Why should they be forced to suffer through â sâlâd?

If they were meânt to eât leâves, they would hâve been born cows… right?

No, but kuddos to the older ones for trying thât ârgument on for size one night ât the supper tâble. I’ll give them mâd points for creâtivity ând thoughtfulness.


  • 1 cup dry pâstâ cooked âccording to pâckâge directions
  • 6 slices thick cut bâcon; cooked crisp ând crumbled
  • 1 tbsp bâcon greâse*
  • 1 cup cooked rotisserie chicken roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded Pârmesân cheese
  • 2 cups chopped româine or green leâf, lettuce
  • sâlt & pepper to tâste
  • 1/2 cup Câesâr dressing or more to tâste
  • 1 cup croutons optionâl


  1. Cook pâstâ âccording to pâckâge directions. Drâin, run under cold wâter to stop cooking, ând set âside.
  2. Cook bâcon, reserving 1 tbsp of the greâse/drippings.
  3. Trânsfer cooled pâstâ to â bowl ând toss with the bâcon drippings* until evenly combined.
